HELP! Blowing fuses

I have been lurking on this board for a while and finally broke down and bought a bike to try my hands at some customizing. This is my first bike ever. You guys have some great builds on here and have been a huge inspiration for my new obsession.

I bought a 74' CB360. Its a good running bike that i bought off the original owner. I road it around for a few weeks before i started any work on it. But now I'm stuck and hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to electric. I think i have just gotten lucky up to this point. Let me break down what i have done and where the problem began.

Replaced the rear signal and brake lights- Everything worked out great and had no issues once i figured out what wiring went where for the new signals.

Somewhere in these steps is where i screwed something up:

Swapped old bars for clipons and re-connected all of the wiring
Put in a new starter button ( the old one was missing, new one doesn't work )
Put on new front signals ( hooked them up the same way as the rear and everything works fine )
Took off tach and speedo ( i plan to run just a speedo )

So at this point i thought i was good to go until i hooked up the headlight. Now every time i flip the headlight switch i blow the headlight fuse, even when there is no headlight attached. I have been through about 10 fuses trying to figure out where i messed up. I disconnected all of the new stuff and even plugged the tach and speedo back in to see if maybe that was a problem and no luck.

At this point i have no idea what could be causing this. All of the control wiring is connected and it looks like all of the wires are good to go at the controls and where they connect in the harness. The only thing i can think of is that i damaged a wire or two when i was either pulling or pushing the control wires out of in into the new bars. But before i take them back out and cut the harness apart i thought i would ask if anyone has any idea what could be going on.

Sorry for the long post and thanks for any help.

You probably accidental plugged the headlight positive wire into a ground somehow. I accidentally did something similar when I was working on my coils. Popped 3 fuses before I figured it out. Go back and check to make sure all the wires behind the headlight are hooked up properly.

Thanks guys! Hopefully is something that stupid, if not i guess I'm taking apart the control harness.

definitly a short... simplify the wiring in the headlight... theres a lot of stuff to go wrong in there.
