Help removing my 4 rubber bolt holders CB360

Luck

Been Around the Block
I did some research on removing the rubber pieces out of the rear hub but I didn't get anything too positive about the procedure. Im doing it one way or the other and Im hoping someone might have another idea worth trying. Worse case I will pick up an extra hub if it doesn't work. My goal is to powder coat it and Im not sure the rubber will hold up. Any info would be great. Thanks

I seem to remember something about that somewhere.... the rubber bits are I believe hard to replace.

Try the Search on CB360 cush drive - that's what the rubber bushings are commonly called.

heat will help a great deal put it in an oven or bbq or use a heat gun or torch(carefully)
get it up to 350 or so and they should come out easy

Remove them, but keep in mind they are still available new, so don;t damage the hub, but you can and should replace the cush drive rubbers.

Mydlyfkryzis, did you say that they are still available? I went to a local dealer and they didn't think they were available. I'm going to do ome online searching and try to find a supplier or look on fleabay. I think I should be able to get the originals out. Thanks everyone for the help.

Sorry, I was looking for them about 6 months ago, in case I needed them, and the Honda dealer online I used had them. they are out of them now.

This place has them:

That's the part number. The CB350 uses the same part too, which does help. Parts unique to the CB360 are a little harder to find, but more common ones are still around.

I've never been able to get them out without at least some damage.
The easiest way to remove them (if you have new ones to re-fit); tap 12x1.25 thread, screw in a bolt with adapter for slide hammer then heat the inside of the hub with a blowtorch to about 250f and yank them out.
99% of the time the outer shell will slide out without any problems (but it really sucks when the rubber separates from outer shell)
