Anyone have a moment? I'm stuck on the 520 on-ramp shoulder. Bike starts and runs fine in neutral but pulling the clutch kills it pretty instantly.

Took a video: http://youtu.be/9YZiDOEjA7s

Any thoughts??

Best wishes,
Ethan

Some things to add: no switch in the clutch lever housing, although there is on some models. Disconnected the neutral light switch wiring that comes out of the clutch case, still having the same problem.

Pretty puzzled

I would look under the tank where the wires connect to coil.
The clutch cable routing is probably wrong and it's puling on wiring harness

SOLVED! Wow what a lifesaver. I owe you one.

Rerouted the wiring that's coming from the timing box and zipped down free of the clutch cable. Runs like a dream now. Very grateful for the help.

All my best,
Ethan

I was making a pun because you saved the day(clutch) and it happened to involve the clutch :)
