Help with Identifying Norton!

Hello all,

I am not real familiar with the bikes from across the pond and I need some help. I have a line on a few bikes this being one of them. Can anyone tell me what this is and what they think it's worth? The bike currently does not run but it does roll over pretty easy. It's actually in very good condition. How hard is it to find parts for the bike? Mostly engine stuff? We plan to build it to stock. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If any one has one on this forum that's built please attach a pic I would love to see it. Thanks for your help.

The guy also has a Harley Davidson Scooter from the 50's that I want to get. We will see if he parts with that one.

Its an Electra. Should be able to pick it up cheap, as nobody wants them.
They're kinda neat. E start and all. But they don't have much collector value. They were a very civilian, transportation bike. They were not the Nortons that people fell in love with. Probably not worth the effort of restoring. But if you can get it for less then $500, it might be fun to clean up and get running.

Cool thanks for the help. I thought that it wasn't something special. But none the less if we can get it for cheap and get it running for little effort. I thought it would be a fun bike to tool around on.

It's one of the Nortons that Norton should never have made. IIRC, the frame came from AMC and was common to several Francis Barnetts. The 400 Electra and 350 Navigator had Roadholder forks and little brother Jubilee came with metal Profiles forks that were designed to be cheap.

Interesting motor design but not very powerful. That one at least looks like a Domi and has the big bike front end on it. Would make an interesting street bike - just to be different. It's fairly complete and in time will have some value.
