I put led turn signals and a electronic flasher on my brothers 78 kz1000. I cant get the them to light up at all. the indicators light up dimly and don't blink. it has two indicators so I don't think I need a diode. It came with hazard lights too but the wires weren't connected at the switch so I took them out and taped them for now. could it be a grounding issue and if it is hows a good way fix it?
Thanks Will
ha ha when I say indicators I mean dash lights. Two wires for each turn signal and two wires for the flasher. The flasher is a EL12 . also I plugged the black wires into the black connection of the harness for the blinkers. Unless the two wires are both hot. one for turn signals and one for hazards? Being it has two dash lights I don't think there is a need for diodes? Being that the led's are diodes themselves maybe switching the wires will do the trick?

On aftermarket components, black usually means ground and on a Honda, black is power.
Try plugging the black wires from the lights into green wires in the harness.

Thanks for the help. Yea this one is interesting. I traded wires and it still didn't work. There is a orange w/green stripe and a green wire that went to the switch housing and was for the hazard switch. There is two orange w/green going to the hazard relay. Up at the switch the orange w/green I grounded and the hazards worked for a second and the jumper got hotter than piss and blew a fuse. I also tried grounding the wires on the blinkers to the frame like it was done originally. When I get some more fuses Ill check around with a test light and maybe figure something out. oh yea there is two wires going to the flasher a orange and a brown. the brown is hot no matter what when the key is on.
