this is my '75 cb360T

it looks like many of you have ones of these and i cant wait to begin modifying

no this one will stay basically how it is. . . . . for now
im looking for another one that i can butcher so i still have one to ride.

if i were to put clubmans on this 360 would i need to change any of the cable lengths (throttle, clutch)??

If you want them to function properly, yes. But most people get away without doing it.

It worked for me, but looked goofy with long cables.

I dont know where you guys are finding all these clean bikes; all ours locally look like the devil rode them as dirt bikes.

Great start to a project my friend. I know everyone has an opinion, but if you want to modify your bike more than just clubmans, then just do it. If you're scared of "ruining" the oem parts, buy some jacked up spare pieces from eGay and modify those. You can still do quite a bit to the bike, and still retain the ability to revert it back to the factory configuration just in case some "old man" comes along and wants to offer you a trillion dollars for the stock version of your bike.

Don't be skerd... just do it to it.

hey nice bike,i never did any cable changes with mine, it worked great,
 
hahaha i cant find anything on craigslist. ebay all the way. there arent that many bikes around here. there are a ton of low mileage clean bikes in the midwest. dont worry, im looking for a snotter for my cafe project. hope to have one next week. i cant take looking at all of your projects and not having anything to work on. so keep up all the work and the inspiration.

You gotta go north of fresno to find decent bikes on craigslist for fair prices. Once in a while I see a cool deal in SLO. Here in Bako all there ever is are Hardley Ablesons, and dirt bikes.
 
there's an awful lot of craigslist stuff locally that definately falls under the "eye of the beholder (of the title)" beauty. I stole my yammie at a consignment auction, and I see bikes locally with twice the miles in half the shape for three times more.

(In hindsight I should have sold it instead of modding it, but I'm loving it now that I'm done)
 
I was thinking the reason there is a fair number of decent units in the midwest was because there was never enough decent weather to get them out and ride them.
