He's still a little too small, even for a Rebel.

Awesome. My son has been riding with me since he was 3 and is now 7. If you start them young and right (FINE-C) ;) they will be responsible safe riders when they hit the roads. Good on you.

Cheers

Me and the family were in sears the over the weekend, state wide tax free weekend so everyone was out. Was walking by the bike section without really paying attention to what was sitting there, I was headed for the tools. Wife is like, " HUNNY look at your SON!!" I whip around just in time to see him throw a leg over one of those mini battery powered crotch rockets with this grin on his face a MILE wide. "DAD this one is MY motorbike, just right!!" I smiled at him for about 2 seconds when he looked down, saw a nice red switch and you could see it in his eyes, hmmmm wonder what THAT does?? FLIP, Light on! I'm like, "HOLEY CRAP!!! NOOOOOOO DON'T TWIST THE THROT.....!!" TOO late, off his ass goes down the isle right straight into a huge box that had a big tool box in it. ::)

Needless to say I had a bit of fun trying to explain what happened to the store guy, I really didn't want to have to BUY a 400$ mini bike, even on a tax free weekend. At least we all got a good laugh out of it though. Told him maybe for Christmas, but he better be good.

Frogman, that is hilarious! I'm glad he's ok though. Just teach him to look where he wants to go, not AT the tool box! LOL

I been digging around for a 50 or 70 for a while just for kicks myself. Had a CT 70 growing up I loved that damn thing.

We bought a CRF50F for fun before we got back into motorcycling. I thought I would teach the wife first on a Fiddy and then on a CRF100 and so on. We have decided that the fifty will always be in the family..too much fun!
