Sorry for the spam but a couple of us have started an Orlando Fl based motorcycle blog. It's a good way of keeping tabs on whats going on in the area and a point of contact for anyone who may be visiting. We'll be posting all kinds of random things like pictures/videos in addition to info on rides and other stuff. Here's a little video from a run we did to Cocoa Beach back in February:

I saw this videao and checked out the blog. Very cool. But where do you guys hang out? I noticed no photos from the 407. I am just back into riding and trying to find the local bike night that's not overrun with RUBS.

We dont have a "clubhouse" or a bar we frequent like an MC, in fact, we're not anything remotely close to an MC. We're just a bunch of guys who enjoy meeting up and riding. Usually we plan things on the fly and post it on the blog. Interested parties are welcome to show up, only stipulation is that you be chill and not some alpha male who wants to organize things to death. Its really low key honestly... A few of us ride Triumphs but there is no "official" bike. Most of us started with Hondas and in my case, my thruxton is my daily driver. My CB450 is in pieces of the moment because of an engine rebuild....

Thanks for the info. sounds like a cool group, i hate the alpha planners too. I have found myself with a bunch on non-riding buddies with kids (they will never be aloud to ride again). I will keep checking the blog.
 
I ride with these guys and they are great peeps! Did not know you guys started a blog though. Definitely will check it out. For those of you that are in Florida and are looking to ride you can also check out http://www.meetup.com/Cafe-moto/ This is a vintage/cafe racer group I started a few months ago.

tbm that is an awesome blog. You guys should also drop by the U.H.F.(United Holligans of Florida) forum. You have to be a member of Delphi forums but its free.
Also are you guys gonna do the Mods vs. Rockers in Cocoa Beach in April. I think I'll be heading over with couple guys from the west coast. Maybe we could hook up around Orlando and ride over.
 
@TriumphantBastard: yeah we're definitely hitting the mods vs rockers event in cocoa beach. Trying to get a large group together for the ride out there. If you guys stop through Orlando, let's us know. Would like to hang & ride you guys. Btw, been on UHF forum before and I'm a member (tbm from Orlando). Been trying to get out to the Florida west coast for a bit, hit some of those beach roads out there. My partner KTB and I have ridden out to cedar key just to grab lunch. Would love to hit Sarasota and parts southwest sometime.

@ triumphbastard, looks like we are going to be meeting up at Christmas Park http://www.nbbd.com/godo/FortChristmas/ (a direction tool on the site) or 1300 N Fort Christmas Rd, Christmas, FL 32709. It's a big open park with bathrooms and shade and drink machines! Was hoping to leave there around 1:30 or 2pm at the latest to head over to cocoa. The park is right off HWY 50, which takes us strait to cocoa.

@bdn3d That sounds great man. I'll be there hopefully w/ a couple more, look forward to meeting up with you guys.

Another event you guys might want to think about is the Heatstroke Hot Rod Hoedown. It's gonna be #8 this year. There is always a ton of cool Rat Rods and I'm gonna be running the vintage bike show this year so there will be classes for cafe racers, bobbers, best Asian, European, domestic and more, even gonna try out a vintage mx/scrambler class.

It'll be a killer time!

@triumphbastard how many u think are riding over with you? The show you mentioned looks like it will be badass.. I use to live in Sarasota so I know exactly but the ole girls from 74 and riding her all that way may do her in... :eek: Im not sure I can make it out that way unless I can make a beach weekend out of it.

Roy it's going to be bad ass, can hardly wait see you at Christmas... (the park ;) )
 
Anyone care if I show up with my camera? 350 is still apart, but I'm going out anyway!
 
off. cafe moto camera man needed. meet up with me at fort x-mas out 50 past bithlo noon+ wait for others easyer for you from where you live, follow on with car out 50.with us can film us weaving down the road. video would be great.
 
Hate to do this guys but both my buddies I planned on riding over with can't make it and I've decided I'm gonna ride over with the Dime City boys in the early AM. Make sure you stop by the Dime City booth and have a cold one with me.

Well thats a bummer, it is looking like that is happening over here 2, I thought we would have about 10 bikes riding out now it looks like we may get 4 or 5... oh well. Have fun, be safe and I'll come find ya! 8) Still can't wait...
