'76 CB550
Hey, new guy just saying hello.
Started out on a 1978 CB400, put 10k miles on it before slamming it into the side of a Ford F350 at 55mph. Totaled the bike, the truck, and part of my face for a couple weeks. Walked away, though. Helmets are kinda cool.
30 days later, got the first check from the other guys insurance company, and held onto it for almost an hour before I went and picked up a 1976 CB750. Got lot of shit from the folks at the physical therapy office for showing up on a motorcycle. Oh well. Cars suck.
Next bike was a 1998 Triumph Speed Triple. Rode it across the country 4 days after I bought it. Put 40k miles on it in about a year, before it was stolen out of my driveway in broad daylight. I still check the local jail's website once a week, so I can track the kid that took it down when he gets out.
Currently working on a 1976 CB550. As stripped down as possible. If it doesn't make it go or stop, it gets cut off and thrown away. Pics below.
