1980 Honda CB750F
So I have a 1980 honda cb750f supersport and I bought if off a dude for 700 bucks so i can fix it up and have it as my first bike. I'm trying to do it more like brat style and while looking at pictures for ideas I noticed that none of these cafe racers and stuff have radiators that I can see, and i'm wondering about that placement? On the picture attached i cant see any hints of a radiator but i'm under the impression that there is no way a motorcycle can function properly without one? educate me pleaseee three months ago my mechanical knowledge was zero. ;)

To answer your question about the radiators. Most motorcycle motors of that era were air cooled. So technically the radiator is the motor itself. So your are correct that most cafe racers don't have radiators.

Correct! That's why air cooled engines have so many fins. Fins create greater surface area for heat to dissipate. Clean and simple, eh?

So can I just take my radiator off because I have an air cooled motor? And its like self sustaining by itself? Or do i need to put liquid coolant or something somewhere?

Best thing to do is start a project thread, and get some pics uploaded. Let's see what you're starting with. Chances are, as it has been suggested, that the radiator you're looking at is actually an oil cooler aftermarket add-on. Don't start taking things apart yet tho!
