I thought, hey, why not post this up here too. It's in the GTA. Up on Craigslist too. $250 - antique brass bed. Not polished to a mirror shine (I like the antique patina) but it could be. Twin size. The real deal - no Sears/IKEA junk.

Please tell me you cut the baseboard and not the barister along the wall ;)

He's talking about the chest thingy below the mirror in the first photo. It looks like you may have notched the baseboard to accomodate the rear legs.

Actually I think now I know what he's talking about. The sectional bookcase (often found in law offices, hence 'barrister') in the second picture looks almost like it intersects with the baseboards. In actuality the baseboards are wrapped around a drywalled bulkhead which encases some ductwork on top of the exposed brick wall.

The barrister bookcase is just tucked in beside the bulkhead.

Didn't see the bulkhead until you mentioned it... didn't think you would do what I thought I saw initially..

carry on  :)

I just had to so a double take look at the first pic...
For a moment there I though that the lamp on the drawer, (in the background), was an IV drip.. LOL...
;D...
An IV Drip is a pretty good idea acutally... ya know.. to restore your electrolytes... ;D

sorry....completely irrelevant observation...
