Ha, ha! Sorry Mortikan, I was thinking of our Canadian Maritime buddies who have been hit BIG time with snow, ice and rain! :p

Buying a snow blower will do that! ;) Got your bike out yet?

well I had it out but, I find I do the hokey pokey with this thing. I have about 60 miles on it since finish of the build last october. I need to rejet the carbs and I tore down the battery box and well I am only this week ordering the couplings from mikes xs so I can make plug extensions to relocate my rec/reg and ignition and some other misc parts to various spots. So I put my left foot on take my left foot off. break down the bike and turn my self around.
Hopefully and I say that with enthusiasm. I might be able to get to it by the end of the week. Mikes ships fast to me, I should have the parts by wednesday or thursday at the latest. I can pull the carbs and rejet in a lazy evening get it all buttoned up. getting time to build my box well. lets say I need to ride to a show by may 25th so I know I will be done a week or two before so I can get some time in.

As to the snow I know friends in Vermonts have had a gang buster winter. that's why I got a two stage thrower. I have not had to use all of one stage yet. but, could be worse we could live in georgia with drought and tornado's and hurricanes crazy.

Maryland. No snow shovels for a while.

I am new to riding and can't wait to really get out there. I rode around the neighborhood the other day, it was great. I didn't want to go far cuz I don't have my license yet...I take my course in a few weeks. I hope to have my bike all dialed in by then. It runs pretty good and is insured and tagged, but needs some freshening up. It is a 76' CB550, in case you're wondering.

any pics of the pretty little thing johnny blaze? MAke sure you don't do a wheelie with the little 250 the class lets you use they frown upon that kind of stuff.

Good luck

Sounds like my story. My class is the first week of May, can't wait. Just hope it's not snowing  Working on my bike to get it ready for May, not sure if I'll make it though.

Jacksonville. I would have to say my room mate and I are the only guys in town with vintage jap bikes (his 66 cb160 my cb200). There are a few older guys with some BMW's ($).

Here is a pic. I opened a Photobucker acct and posted it through there, but it is huge...??? It has some rust, but I will be cleaning/painting those areas. I have an all black Mac exhaust waiting to go on and plan to do a seat.
