Spokes for the front rim should be around 75.00 in stainless and a rim about 125.00 maybe less. I could lace and true it for 100.00. Problem solved. PM me if interested
Thanks Sin City. Unfortunately the cost of postage to the US and back make this uneconomic.
Nevertheless I apreciate your offer.
I do wish I lived in or closer to the USA sometimes. Engraving is my hobby and tools, teaching and employment oppotunities are all over there too.
Regards
Steve
Ahh, I didnt even notice you were outside the USA. Its funny cause sometimes I wish I was overseas to get my hands on some of the cool bikes that seem to be all over the place. I would absolutely love to do a cafe racer out of that nevada you have. That could be an awesome cafe racer. In fact I am now officially in moto guzzi mode. Gotta find a cheap one over here to get in line of the bikes to do.
That shouldnt be too hard. Nevadas are the least popular of the guzzis. They are neither fish nor fowl. A pretend cruiser.
Having said that they have the Guzzi; sound, reliability, straight frame and small size that often appeals to cafe racer fans.
They are doddle to convert really.
Sorry for reanimating a dead topic but I'm looking into the possibility of buying a Nevada myself. And I have found very few topics about these bikes on the internet.
I was wondering could anyone specify which specific Suzuki GS model that is?
GS450 E or S tank in the United States, or a GSX400 E or S in other parts of the world. Word of warning though: they are sought after and therefore expensive. But of that tank will fit a Guzzi frame, than other Suzuki tanks shouldn't be that hard to for either.
