Hi, everyone!
I found out about this site via my regular hangout over at 650rider.com and thought I'd check it out. Looks like a great place!
In August of '07, I bought a '73 Yami TX650 that had been sitting on an electric shelf, gathering dust, with several other vintage pieces. The bike was a non-runner, but in fairly good cosmetic condition, though there were a few aesthetic challenges due to one or more previous owners' "indiscretions". : So, with the help of many of the good people over at 650rider (I'm new at working on bikes) I got the bike running and seem to have dialed it in very well, after having replaced some seals, hopefully mitigated/eliminated some oil leaks, replaced most of the ignition system, and made some cosmetic enhancements, such as a proper cafe seat and bars. She's numbers-matching, properly titled, and registered now, too... back from the dead.
I can go into more detail on the bike later if there's interest, but for now, greetings from me and my mild cafe '73.
