Hello from OZ,
been a bike rider for many years, 3rd generation or so,following in ghost of my late pop, who was a flat track nsw champion in the 40s.
i built this cafe racer to look like his 1949 ajs cafe he had, with my nans name on it skin as in skinny. the same as his, its only loosely based on it from some old small faded black and white photos, but my now late nan, asked me a few years ago to be pillioned for her 80th birthday, so i made this up.
its base is a 1989 honda cd250, i basically rebuilt it from the frame up, regret not painting the frame, but yeah you get that, every bit, i could find to replace was replaced. still a work in progress as always, got a set of custom upswing exhaust and headers to put on, and new headlight, blinkers etc still.
after about a year or so, it developed a bad rattle, so i have the engine out, for 18 months now, waiting for some time to rebuild it.
got a few other bikes to play with as well, a daily rider 2011 vfr800 ive tricked out.
