Hi Everyone, My name is John and I recently Bought A 1980 Kawasaki KZ650 and im looking to make it a cafe. This bike only has 6700 miles. Any ideas or info. about this bike that is out there that could be shared would be appreciated. I have to look through this site real good cause im sure there are posts out the A$$ about this bike. Well, im originally from cranberry, but i have recently moved to Dubois for my job. I am in cranberry/pittsburgh area once or twice a month for my military obligations, pics will be here soon as last time i tryed to download they were too big and wouldnt download. But i just bought the bike and havent even fixed it mechanically yet, so im still aways away from riding it around . We will have to chill when i get the bike up and running. ... ill post a pic soon to show what this bike looks like before i rip it apart completely.

But if it did then this is her. I have already chopped the shit muffler off of it, ripped off the front fender,and removed the rear plastic fender. Ive only had this bike for about a week now, i have been wanting one for a while to cafe but have just recently had the money to buy one. Let me know what you think of that super gay lazy boy recliner seat lol
Nice... My old cb500 had the same seat... Fuckin rediculous. As far as pics, just open a photobucket account. Its the easiest way to post pics on the board.

hey , thanks alot, appreciate the offer Im going to rip into the carbs these next few days and see if i can get them up and running better and from there i need to see why my oil leaks like crazy out of the oil breather, other than that its all looks that ill be tackling, ( good thing my bro is an autobody guy, we could chop this thing to hell and weld it all back together ) ;D
