Re: Hi, UK rider, trying to make an f2n CB750 look like a cafe!
wow, didn't even know that existed.
main thing i'm struggling with is that it's a 1992 bike so the tank and seat line is nowhere near straight. thought about keeping the tank and ditching side panels, then putting a whitehouse style back end on it.
Re: Hi, UK rider, trying to make an f2n CB750 look like a cafe!
ok, here's a rough pic of where it's up to so far. i know it's ot a great base model for this style, but i got it for sod all so it's got to be worth a go:
there are a load more in that account of it. any advice/suggestions as to how to make it look more cafe style would be greatfully received!
CBX 750 motor, be careful with oil, hydraulic tappets don't like it if you use wrong stuff (or its dirty)

Theres been a few F2n, RC42 or nighthawks as they are called in USA recently. A search on google images for "nighthawk cafe racer" brings up a few you could get inspiration from.
Brake lines fitted to front, clocks modified to clear, remote reservoir fitted and connected, bars cleaned off, head stock fitted properly and a few other proper jobs sorted. Doesnt look much different but it's all properly on there now...
