The best wood fired system I ever did, I made a heat exchanger on the stove to generate hot water, and used a circulater pump through a big radiator and some baseboard to heat the place. It was amazingly effective. Later we added a high efficiency gas boiler, but kept the wood boiler in parallel so that you could use either.
