My bikes came with a spare tank that is near spotless on the inside. But on the outside near the bottom there is some rust that appears to be brazed. This would lead most people to assume that there are holes that had been covered. What I would like to know is if there are any substitutes for checking for holes. Other than water which would create flash rust and ruin the inside of the tank. Any thoughts?
