Hi all,

I am new to this forum and i am going to rebuild my 1981 cb 125 twin to a scrambler.

Does anyone know how wide rear tires it is possible to fit?

Looking forward to your answers.

Please post your rim width, it is likely stamped on the wheel someplace. We cannot assume your wheel is stock if you want a really good answer.

I dont know the rim width yet because i just ordered 18 inch cb200 spoke rims, and i dont have the data on these rims.

All i wanted to know is how wide a tire could fit in the swingarm with 18 inch wheel?

We understand the answer you're looking for, but cannot accurately give it to you unless we know the wheel size.

This should help. Once you receive your wheels, look near the air stem for the wheel size.

Not sure how I knew something like this was going down.

The space between the swingarm has absolutely no bearing on a proper tire recommendation. Whether you like it or not, the determining factor in this inquiry is rim width.
