Hey everyone,
In the middle of doing a rebuild on a motor that needed the top end rebuilt.
I honed the cylinders for new rings, hand lapped the valves, and hand lapped the head gasket surfaces on a granite surface plate.
I'm ready to reassemble the top end.
My question is regarding using Permatex "right stuff" for every gasket surface besides for the head gasket. Is it feasible?
I have an OEM head gasket but the rest of the kits that are available seem like junk.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
