honda cb350 custom cafe racer seat $300

I built this seat about a year ago. Its made of a fiberglass pan and hump with vintage brown leather. It was sewn and assembled by the shop that provides all the seats for DCC. the stitching is top notch. The leather is very unique. we used the section of the hide that has brand marks from the original butcher. The leather is extremely durable but also has the ability to show distress marks. Ive got well more than i care to admit into the seat for time and money and not looking to make it back. More interested to see it go to someone who would appreciate it. To fit this seat to your cb350 all you need to do is cut the hump off the back of the frame and stick velcro to the existing frame brace ahead of the hump. no grinding down of the stamped edges etc. The front hooks into the original latch at the tank. I welded a flat bar across the area where the original hump was for bracing.

**warning** this design limits rear wheel throw but is easily mitigated with newer shocks set to a stiffer setting. if youre a city cruiser and plan to ride 1 up this will never cause an issue.

Ive enjoyed this seat and it has gotten a lot of attention. Im selling as im turning the bike from a cafe into a tracker.
Feel free to text or email for more pics and info. $300 to the first taker.

thanks
david

Can I see a pic of the seat off the bike so I can see how it hooks up? Will this fit a '72 since yours is an earlier model with a different tank?

facefirst, i would imagine you wouldnt have issues installing with a 72 tank but i can confirm later as i have one in the shop. ill shoot some pictures tonight and post them up for you over the weekend. thanks. if you have a cell i can text them even quicker. feel free to PM me

You could mount it no problem. You may have a gap at the tank though. The rear of the tank where it meets the seat is a lot different.

Solution: Buy a 68-69 tank. They look a lot better.

seat fits great with a 72 tank. see below
