Hey Guys,

I appear to be having issues with my electrics on my CB since I have returned from holiday. At first it just had a flat battery, so I jumped it and went for a ride to charge it back up.
When I pulled back into my driveway it appeared to lose all power, dash lights and headlights all went off. I played around with the key in the ignition thinking I had knocked it into the off position while opening the gate and all of a sudden power seemed to return. I parked it up and then the following day when attempting to go for another ride it appears to have occurred again. No power at all, I am going to try use a trickle charger on the battery overnight to make sure its not just a faulty battery, but has anyone else got suggestions at what to look at?

Not sure if I made much sense with that description, sorry guys =)

charge that battery then check for power at the switch first thing id do, then make sure you have a good connection to the battery hot and ground... loose wires are bad ...

Hey, I've charged the battery, bike seems to get power selectively, i.e. when i sit and jimmy the key around in the ignition and it works after a while. When it does get power (lights on dash and headlights work) it still doesnt seem to be getting enough power to run the startermotor correctly.

Any suggestions?
