Honda cb750 gas tank...I think!

I have a old Honda gas tanks, I think it's from a cb750 but I have no idea what year or anything about it. It need new paint but it's in pretty good shape other then that. Comes with gas cap and petcock, the inside of the tank isn't too bad just has minor surface rust. Not sure what it's worth just shoot me some offers, also taking trades. Located in maryland

Does the fuel gauge work? That on its own might fetch a pretty penny on eBay or the like as a nice period correct aftermarket piece.
 
Not sure if it works or not...The glass lens for the gauge is missing, assuming that there was one. Like I said I truly know nothing about the tank.
 
I'd throw it on the bay.. probably get a decent lot for it. It looks like an earlier tank as well the petcock is on the opposite side in the later years... if the gauge works I'll buy that off ya but have no use for tank... lol

Make an offer on the cap if you want it...I'm cutting the tank up for my tail section. Petcock is also available.

Oops, sorry Bobbed. Just saw your pm. I can't buy anything for that project yet. Too much on my plate at the moment.
