not a very good pict but this is how i mounted the rear sets from a 2003 honda 600rr to my 1972 cb450, they are not hooked up yet, the shifter side will be easy, the brake side will be interesting ;D
i stole both rear sets for $30 for the pair, so i figure i can make them work
had to do some trimming where the clamp fits round though and i cut the v piece off, the clamp is an emgo 1 1/4 clamp i might have to shim the clamp, the frame size is 1 1/8
I'll be mounting up my new rearsets soon too. Like you said the shifter side should be easy, but the brake will be the challenging part. Check out the exploded rearsets thread, he shows how he bent a rod to do his. I'm thinking thats something like we'll have to do on our bikes too.
