Hone type required?

Been Around the Block
Folks, what material type of hone is recommended to deglaze cylinders? I noticed there are various grits and material options for hones. For example, if I am just deglazing the cast iron cylinders, would I use a high grit silicone carbide? Here is the brand of hone I am considering: http://www.brushresearch.com/brushes.php?c1=1

Thanks!

They are great for de-glazing cylinders.
Probably want 320 grit
For home use, go for the cheapest.
Boron carbide lasts longer if your doing production work but you don't need it for a couple of cylinders (you can probably do 200~300 or more with one flex hone)

Crazy, so I could really use Silicon Carbide or Aluminum Oxide as well? The difference is just the duty cycle if you will?

Yep, silicon carbide will do hundreds of cylinders
I've never used Boron carbide, just heard about it from people who have.
