much to look foward to.

hey all quick question i have a cb750k with the awful comstars ( rear drum single disc front) and have found a set of spokes with rear drum and single disc front and was curious if it was just a bolt on swap.

take a few measuresments I dont see why they wouldnt.
You might only need to make a spacer or two at the most really.

You've got a K with Commies? What year 750? They typically came with spokes.
Do you know what the year the donor for the spoked wheel was?

pretty sure they are comstars, ill get some pics up tomorrow, its a 1979 cb750k. as for the donor the current owner said they are from a 1979 cb750k. so its got me a bit confused on why mine has these ugly heavy comstars unless the PO swapped them on for some reason

Some people do actually like the looks of them ;) , plus being tubless and maintenance free.

I believe the majority of the K's wore spokes originally, while the C and F models had Comstars... at least here in the states. Notlob is a fellow member across the pond and he reports their version (I think an N model) had Commie's. Maybe your bike was a Canadian originally? ::)

very interesting, i do like the hassle free of them but they dont work well with how the bike will look next year sadly. ill do some digging and see if maybe i can figure out why my models has em

Hi Scott,

Yes Todd did, but he only likes the rarer 1975's. But... Todd does have an epic project Rotary RE5 Cafe he is beginning work on now. Planned for 150HP motor and updated suspension. It should be ridiculous with a capitol R! To be continued...

Love the sound of any single rotor! My dad use to have an old evinrude wankle single rotor. 150hp will be a riot!!!
