im trying to get some quotes online right now. im just trying to find a company where i can get like 10 instead of 50 or 100+. i requested a quote in a 3" patch and a 10"
 
for the 3" patches they are 12.55 each
and for the 10" 48.79 each

for a grand total of 487.90

which i cant afford that, especially for a patch. and i cant find any company to just make a couple.

Hey guys, I have a friend who has a sewing/embroidery business. Can someone send me the image you want on the patch so I can ask her about it?

Oh and I'm a n00b from NW Indiana ;)


Edit* Nevermind, I found it (very nice btw) and she doesn't have a hoop big enough for 10" so that idea is out.

Welcome to DTT El Guapo ! Man if you could get a source for the smaller patch that would be good enough for us!
The patch I did is on my webshots page, if you click on the image it shoud take you to the host and let you download the image... Keep us "posted" Ha-ha!

 
She's going to do a test one to see how long it takes for pricing. Did anyone happen to get the image digitized for embroidery yet?
 
No, it has to be converted so an embroidery machine can stitch it. The software is really expensive but I think that I have found someone to do it.
 
shermonator i have a dual disc setup off a kz1000 if you want it. I'm not sure if a 400's front wheel will take the 2nd disc though. haven't really looked at it much.... free! haha

Cool man, I'll do a little research into what would need to be done to make it happen. But for now I'm busy trying to figure out what I'm going to do with the bike, the oil shift seal I replaced two months ago started leaking friday if I can't come up with a better fix it might be time for a new bike as much as I would hate to give up on it after all the work my buddy and I have put in
 
OK, so my original source for getting the image ready for embroidery failed. There is supposedly a place here in Lafayette that I can do it for a small fee. I'll try to get it there in the next couple of days. My wife is getting induced tomorrow so I'm not sure when I'll have it done. Sorry for the delay guys.
 
helloo. i thought id say hello to my neighbors. im down in bloomington. last summer i was looking for a moped and figured why not get a motorcycle. my main bike is a 78 sr500 that im trying to cafe. its got an electrical problem im hoping to fix, soon? but yeah hey here i am!
 
Welcome rinnie, At the moment I am down in your part of the state on vacation in Nashville.(Brown County). Waiting for the wifey to wake up to do the tourist traps... sitting in the hotel checking in on the laptop ;)
