Hossler's 69 cb350 "keepin it simple...but damn"

Been Around the Block
Over the summer i sold my cm450 bobber after i spent all winter building it. So with a pocket full of cash, i started searching craigslist, ebay, classifieds all over the internet, looking for my next build. I wanted a complete project bike, something vintage and it had to be a honda.

I found this

1969 honda cb350 supersport, barn find 5,xxx orig miles, clean title, yes it was storage inside so i didnt have to worry about rust, but the bike only has 5,xxx miles on it and its over 40 years old, so i know its gonna need some love, plus to me the bike is ugly and has to much stuff you dont need. 69 cb350 ss could be the ultimate jap vintage custom imo

Removed some stuff added some stuff, this was all before winter, so most of it was just to give me and idea of what i could have when im finished.

Which i end up with this

As of right now I'm working on my headlight/number plate also extending the swing arm 3"-4". Also still unsure if i want a traditional cafe hump fiberglass seat, of i want more of a brat style banana seat. Then tear it apart rebuild everything and put it back together

I thought id share my winter project though

my old bike

sold it to some guy in jersey, if you guys know where it is let me know id like to buy it back if i could, i miss it:)

Very jealous, I nearly had one stock that looked like this blue/white paint, LOVE that look on those things.

no rear sets, my knees fit perfectly on the tank knee pads as it is..as much as i like the blue/white paint scheme it MIGHT be changing, if i change it, itll stay 2 one and vintage honda colors

update and i need to get my post # up so i can get the dime city discount!

forks reseals and "freshened" up,

frame and motor, cleaned up and painted..new wheel bearings, steering bearings and brake pads

Not much to brag about yet, still buying parts and painting the tins...No modern parts for this bike, id like to keep it as "vintage" as possible, well everything but the tires :)

thanks fella's .

heres one more of the cm450

i miss it so much, im already eyeballing a cm400 for my next build

Well, some of you might be a little disappointed in my final paint decision...

I can say i painted it myself, it looks great and i kept it two tone also.

Update, got the bike started for the first time.

has a few issues, and still need to get the seat finished and a couple lights, but hot damn i love her
