How are these for knee dents? Too shallow?

Got it all bondo'd up and primer'd -

My friend Louis in Tukwila helped me shoot the tank with first Dupli-Color Dark Blue, and then I was thinking that it looked too dark - so we hit it with a coat of medium blue - which ended up being HUGELY flake-y, and also ended up being the PERFECT color. I'm super stoked about the tank and side covers, they're looking really good.
Here's the bike idea

I'm super excited about the way it's going to look with a big fat white stripe down the side... One thing I've been thinking about is doing the big 2" or so stripe down only the right side, and then on the left side doing a big white circle with the Honda badge in the center... The side covers are going to stay with the "450 DOHC" badges...

I think the only problem is the little pivot pin is fixed like a rivet. A carter pin would work or a very tiny nut/bolt.

That tank looks perfect you did a really good job. What kind of paint did you use to get that look it looks great.

We started off with Dupli-Color Auto dark blue - which worked well, but it was darker than I needed/wanted. So we did another coat of Dupli-Color Truck & SUV (bigger can) Medium Blue, which I knew would be lighter than I wanted, but over the top of the dark blue it came out perfect. There's a (very) small part of me that thinks it could be a little darker again, but overall I'm super happy with it. I think once I get the big white stripe on it it'll really pop, and I'm seriously thinking about taking it to an auto body shop to get it hit with pro clear coat...

you should! it would prob run you 20 bucks and then all you would have to do is wet sand and buff!

Hmm. Just called the local auto body shop and they were like "Sorry, basecoat and clearcoat need to be the same brand/line, otherwise it won't work..."

Should I just try till I find somebody who will do it?

ya... try to find a local car dealer... the detail shop usually has someon that wants to make abit of extra $$$

Well the original plan was to stick a big fat stripe down the side of the tank, but as I got closer and closer to laying on the white I was increasingly nervous... I kept thinking "this is going to be wrong somehow and I'm totally not going to like it, and I'm going to wish I had waited and tried out a few stripe configurations, etc..." My friend Louis was super helpful and informative about this whole project - he really helped me a ton -

But we pulled the trigger on the stripe, and I gotta say, I think it looks awesome:

Dunno what's up with my image resizer software, it's showing all that clipping there...
