How does this look?

Hey!!.. That looks really good.
The cowl flows with the lines of the frame!!

I would just keep the foam on the seating area low and thin.

is that the stock seat pan for the bike?

It's horrible, man.......how could you screw up a bike like that!??

You should send it to me........really...... ;)

That looks great! I'm with these guys...leave the side covers off......nice start....

I like! As loco said, it really flows nice with the rear part of the frame. It was meant to be!

I'm not diggin it the more I look at it...I need to make a seat pan AT LEAST....the seat pan has too much of an up angle. No...those covers aren't going back on, but I did see a same year cafe that had them on and it didn't look bad.

I think it looks good. Like noel said keep the foam thin, help retain that aggressive look. an w/out the side covers. don't forget to post pics of the finished product.

I do like the flow of the rear seat cowl.
Im guessing thats not a chopped back end of a tank.. Looks like a cowl piece from a newer Triumph Bonnie...
did you bolt it to the actual frame?... if you did, you can now just trim and cut the seat pan or make your own..

Yeah..its the cowl off my ol ladies Thruxton. I made a new seat pan and going in a different direction. I think I'm going to upholster the bump now
