How long are '70s CB750 rear shocks?

Hey guys,

Im going to be using longer shocks to lift up the rear of my CB350f and figure Cb750 shocks should do the job well. How long are they eye to eye, and does it vary from year to year?

Right not my shocks are 12 1/2" and Id like to make it more like 14".

IIRC, they're something like 15 or 15 1/2, but they're quite springy compared to modern shocks.

My '78 CB750's rear shocks are on the highest preload setting, and are 13.5" eye to eye. Not sure how "worn out" they are as I haven't been able to ride it much yet.

pretty sure the cb900f shocks will fit your bike too.
