How much would you pay?

Alright, so im finally getting back to working on my bike. Its a 1985 honda shadow vt500c im in the process of bobbing it and stripped the bike of pretty much everything electrical. i was going to build my own custom wire harness from scratch but as it turns out i couldnt figure it out for the life of me. i did relocate the ignition switch, starter button and kill switch to under the seat and stripped the entire wire harness from the bike. so my question to ya'll is... if i take my bike somewhere to get rewired to just the bare essentials ( start, headlight, tail light blinkers and charge the battery) how much would i be expecting to be charged. im new to this so im trying to get a ball park figure so i dont get charged more than i need to

Probably more than you want to pay. Rebuilding a wiring harness isn't in the "standard" service category so they will probably charge an arm and a leg. If it were me, I'd make my own. Ask any and all questions about the process. You will most likely end up with a better product and you will learn a lot.

Agreed. Something like that is very labor intensive. And with a shop labor rate of $75+ an hour, it'll add up quickly.

ok that being said does anyone have a wiring diagram. ive found some custom ones on the net but some have extra things i dont need, or parts different from mine i posted the pics on another forum and no one seemed to give me a straight answer as to how to customize it just that it wouldnt work on my bike. i can follow the simple diagrams but the two diagrams i found have extra parts different from mine and i dont know if by cutting those out how to fill in for whats missing ill try and post the two to see if someone can help me somehow frankenstein one complete compatible harness for what i need

Ok these were the two i found but on the first one it has wiring for only a rectifier, and i have a combo regulator/rectifier

on the second it has the regulator rectifier as two seperate units ,and an alternator, would the alternator be by stator?
