How to choose Carbs 1972 Honda CL350 rebuild

Hey I have a CL350 project engine I am going to start reassembling very soon and the engine did not come with carbs ... I know the engine I have on my bike right now has the Keihin carbs but I know A lot of people seem to like the mikuni carbs how would I go about choosing a old mikuni carb at a reasonable price How do I know what size carb to buy and what bikes I can choose from to buy... any insight will help thanks forum

VM28s are your best bet, but they're usually only available with flat slides, so that doubles the price. Round slides are available in the VM30 model though, so that's what ends up on a lot of CB350 builds.

What about for keihin carbs what models are usually used for these builds with those carbs...? so my guess is 30mm carbs are what go on a 350 engine?
