How to increase the visibility of Her (motorcycle) arse?

Re: How to increase the visibility of Her ass?

How many female members are there? Wonder why

Re: How to increase the visibility of Her ass?

Be careful. Having a flashing brake light isn't a "normal" ticket. In some counties it's considered "Impersonating a Police Officer". That ticket is more than your bike. And they may make it so he can't get his license until he's 18.

How about you change your thread title and teach your son to respect a women
Do you know why angels can fly? My title post is a metaphor and a sarcastic joke cause most ladies don't want to increase the visibility of their Arse. In other words make it look bigger. But I understand your point and we don't cuss in front of Lucky because she is a lady. It is a paradox don't you think? In order to go fast you have to make the her tail smaller but in order not to be killed you have to make her rear look bigger. So here in lies my sense of humor.

Angels fly because they take themselves lightly and Satan fell because of his gravity.

To all the lovely ladies of DTT forgive me if I offended you. I teach my son to open the doors for ladies and to not stare at their arse as the walk through the door :) brad you have never done that have you? Looked at a gals arse or her headlights? I modified the tittle just for you ;)

This whole train went off the rails. Texasstar started a valid topic, how to make a bike seen from the rear. Focus people.

With a parent like him.. that kid is in for a great life. Read their build thread.

I wish I would have had a dad like Texasstar growing up... hell.. Texasstar.. can you adopt a 30 year old.. I have a kid too.. so its instant Grandfather status.

Is Lucky the name of a person or your bike? Dude, grow up! Motorcycles are machines not "hers"! I think having a strobe brake/tail light is the least of your problems. If I understand it right your 10 year old is riding a motorcycle on the street? That's borderline neglect and at the least really, really, really stupid! Good luck with your tail light and metaphors. I pray nothing bad happens to your kid but with a parent like you he's doomed.

Ya... Rookster, you might want to brush up on what's going here, bud. Tex and his boy are the feel good story of the year. He's teaching that kid some valuable life skills at a very young age and the bond that they are experiencing is something that lasts a lifetime. Seems pretty naive to call him out in such a way.

Personally I think it's a little ballsy for someone with less than 100 posts on the forum to come out swinging on a man and telling him that he's a shitty father and that his son is doomed. Maybe that's just me, though.

How do you ride a motorcycle with that stick wedged in your ass? And how did you ever find room for both the stick and your head?
:D

There is a reason why this forum is largely UN-moderated . This thread is not one of them .

Tex, you may want to think twice on the blinking tail light etc.
If you talk to some cops, they will tell you that drunk-drivers tend to be attracted to the lights on a police car and drive into them. It's one of those fascinating parts of human nature/biology. I'm sure there are ample videos online.
For instance:http://youtu.be/7HaXadaFNPM
I hear that is more prevalent at night. ::)

Strikes me as the sort of thing one would be able to find data on but I'm coming up dry (aside from the expected assertion from Mercedes that they reduce following drivers' reaction time).

I will admit that I am better at searching property records than I am at looking for research data, if anyone else cares to look harder and/or better.

Thanks guys for the entertainment. I read the complete thread to my wife and kids! We haven't laughed that hard as a family since yesterday. We really appreciate the love and the criticism. My family is one of the most important things in the world to me. All of the experienced riders know that you can do everything right and still get hit. I road Lucky to a bike night with my wife and son behind me last night. They both agreed with even the pulse of the brake light it was still not visible enough. So back to the drawing board. However our primary goal is speed. Now my son does ride around our neighbor hood with the other kids on their 4 wheelers and other bikes just as kids do. On the weekends I take him with me on the country twistie roads. We have intercom and he is learning how to look ahead and other good motorcycle disciplines. By no means is he riding in the city or in traffic. So I hope that paints a better picture for you. However we do have to watch out for wile e coyote at dawn and dusk and try not to ride at that time.

I have been told that if you only pass half the crap that was passed on to you then you are a success as a parent. That is my goal! There are better fathers than I am. Rich we love you man! Godspeed to all and may God bless DTT.

Btw Lucky is a person and she speaks to us lol. We love her dearly.

I'm so scared of hipster poseurs. Please don't harass me. Gee, maybe if I was good boy I might learn something from the deep knowledge of vintage leather jackets for skinny guys on this board.

Scott

This. This bullshit. I dont know you. You may be a good dude. If I met ya I'd likely buy you a beer.

But...

That attitude is the problem. Not the skinny guys with leather jackets. If you think the site blows, beat feet. Nobody is stopping you. Otherwise, knock off the elitest bullshit and be a part of something that's rad. Your call hombre.

To get this hread a bit back on topic.... on my Tomos, I put a Ducati LED tail light on that has the "blink three times-then steady" brake option. Turn signals are also integrated into it. Adds a lot more visibility compared to the stock 15w halogen.

this is why I love DTT. We will do the strobe in addition to the flasher relay. Double up on the safety! I like that the running light pulses! Thanks Sonreir!

Buy a cheap video camera while your out, the cell phone camera just isn't up to it.
You can get a Vivitar for less than $30.00 or something off eBay for $20 (and you can mount it on bike later)

crazypj!!! Hey it is an iPhone camera that Zeke drowned in water the day before. I am using an iPad camera since this video. All the other video that we shot for the build was off the iPhone...guess my iPhone didn't like getting wet. The great thing is that it randomly vibrates in my pocket now:)

I wonder what we would be back in the 50's and 60's as we were gathered at the Ace Cafe or some other venue drinking beer and then racing up and down the street trying to Do The Ton? Would we be getting our Pink Possums all stuck in our panties on what was legal or not? That was a time when Men were men and well... pink possums were still pink possums. :)

We have trail bikes but you are full of beezebullcrap if you think it is better to hand over a street bike to a 15-16 year old full of all the testosterone in the world and who thinks he is smarter than everyone else...some never grow out of this phase. My son will have the good habits it takes to survive on the street when he hits 16. If you really want to berate your point and beat your chest...please also join a forum that will help little girls not to text while driving. LikeReallyohmygawd.com

As you can see he has been riding since he was knee high to a pink possum.

Please say a prayer for me because I am about to teach my daughter to drive through an approved Texas Parent Taught Driving School. "Ok honey this is trailing throttle oversteer...yeehaw!!!"
