Hello all,
Squirrely1 here Recently picked up an 81 CM400C and a 80 CM400A after not owning or riding for 18 years!! The first one I'm calling Mad Max Cm400c (the yellow one) and the Cm400a the red one (aka the polished turd) it looks pretty but, after getting it home & rebuilding the carbs as the carbs were in a box but the motor spun over with the electric and felt like it had compression when using the kick start so I bought the bike... A big nope! Thankfully, I had bought a cm450e for parts for the cm400c and will be swapping that motor into the cm400a.
Thankfully, after rebuilding the carbs for Mad Max cm400c and putting the Cm450e tank on it runs and drives!!!
Well, I will keep this short but, I will be on learning about my new bikes!!
