77cb750. I'm under the impression i cant just "change" my stock foot pegs without some modification. what exactly has to be done if i just want to put some silver billet pegs or something without putting on rear sets?
ideas, suggestions?
thanks
rob

on the highway i sometimes ride with my feet on the passenger pegs. just some variation. if traffic starts jamming up, i just switch back again. as i recall the raask rearsets for the cb350/450 actually used the rear passenger pegs to mount the switchgear.

Right on, thanks. I took my passenger pegs off. I was speaking more "asthetically" about the stock pegs. I would like to do the smaller metal billet pegs for now{until i one day actually make the "rear set commitment"} Im pretty sure cause of the spring and mount of the pegs i would need to make some mods for other pegs.....anyway, just throwin it out there if anyone has some advice/suggestions.
Thanks
Rob

No specific suggestion for your CB, but my plan is to wander into a M/C shop and take a close look at the way their bike pegs mount, find one that looks reasonably close, and order some of those spiffy aluminum GP pegs from eBay or J&P or whoever. I've got a KZ, so there's a little torsion spring inside of a box-like peg end. To me, it looks like most UJMs use the same setup.
