Brit Joes GSXR SRAD 7/1k Streetfighter Hybrid

It started with crashed Gixer 1000 K2

The Frame was bent but the motor started on the key I bought for $1000 CANADIAN
went looking for a frame and found a complete SRAD it wasnt crashed but the previous owner had let it run out of Oil and blew the motor, I bought the SRAD for $500 Canadian
Sold the fairing set and all the other parts I didnt need from bikes and started the conversion, to get the 1000 motor in the SRAD frame involved in making adapter plates for the top end mounts and removing 5/8 from the bottom engine mounts on the crankcases.
Harness, ECU, etc and motor from the Gixer 1K
Rolling Chassis is the SRAD the rear swingin arm is two inches shorter than the 1K
and the bike is 60lbs lighter than the stock 1k2
Laser Cut Subframe of my own design 3/8inch aluminum plate and tigged welded together with 1/2 inch round braces doubling for battery cradle etc.
Ducati Monster Aluminium Tail, a 2nd cut down and used as Mini fairing
Ducati Monster Aluminium Front Fender
Stock Top Triple tree Drilled and Yamaha Virago Pullback Risers
Renthal MX Bars
R1 throttle tube
BMC filter
Power Commander III USB
Aluminium Air induction tubes (from a after market Honda Civic ) cut down to gixer Length ( my machine didnt like to rev over 9,000 rpm without the Induction)
CRG leavers
CRG Spot Bar Mirrors
LED 03 R6 tail light with integrated signals
CRG frame to fork 10 way stearing Dampener
CHEV 350 9 row transmission cooler as Oil Cooler and ANSI fittings with stainless braided oil cooler hose.
Lots of 1 off mounts Exhaust etc
GSXR titanium Headers, with butterfly exhaust valve removed and actuator removed and disarmed on ECU By cutting the Brown/black Wire!!
Yoshimura TRS shortened to 300mm with a VW baffle (Brrppp)
Yoshimura red anodized (snide possibly) made for a later gixer, and more home made aluminum mounts
Vortex Billet Stator cover
Erm......hmmm dont think there is any else, oh apart No Paint Just Brushed steel and Aluminum ( Car Wax Has Stoped it rusting for three Years.

Hello again Joe, i was just thinking, do you remember your first build ? the CB900 ? a long time ago. Moved on a bit since then huh ! Seeing you riding the latest creation made me dig out a box of old photos, looking at pics of Kent show etc lots of fun but glad they are over. Good to know your doing stuff.. stay upright... Sorry joe, got one of you at kent and a small one of stuarts bike plus general ones of people at that time. i have moved about so much that lots have things have been lost over the years. I am not really into bikes very much these days but i like to ride occasionaly when its warm, i have an old Fz 750 genesis. prefer to ride them rather than get oily and mucky these days.

Sweet ride Joe!! 8) 8) We should add this one to the "Fighter" section!

I've debated doing a similar conversion on a Gixxer myself! Nice work! :-* :-*
