I need some super LED's where do I find them?

LEDS THESE DAYS ARE INCREDIBLE
i have this flashlight uses a single bat and it is so bright you litterally cannot use it on high for close up work
totally throws enough light to ride at nite as well needs to be carefully mounted though i had mine lashed to the bars and the vibration killed it, i returned it for fast free repair

Yeah now imagine that, only twice as much light, in red, on the ass end of the bike :D

A buddy of mine has a 42" Rigid Light bar and that thing is fan-fucking-tastic. Offroad at night you dont even know its night.

and i fergot it was called an aperapture and was calling it a shudder ;D ::)

Almost. The shudder opens up the crapature when it's time to do let in the light. if crapature setting is too big, you get blinded by the light. And if it's too small it keep you in the dark. Wrong crapature results is shitty pictures.

BTW, under DOT rules for construction and use of motorcycles, LEDs around a headlight are not allowed. Or think of it as being Not DOT approved for street use. :)

DOT rules ! hah ! i live in the poorest county in oregon 2 deputies for the entire county !!
i can go on 3 or 4- 150 mile rides and never even see a cop
i see more federal cops than any others(blm law enforcement mostly) them and the game wardens and troopers are cool, they are almost like people :D

I knew I'd get some criticism here!

The plan is to run a small running light on the swingarm. The brake light will be under the seat parallel to the seat/frame. When the brakes are hit the brake light will light up the whole rear end of the bike, which to me is a whole lot more eye catching then a small tail light.

To put it in perspective, average headlight for a bike is somewhere around 700 lumens. The ass end of my sr will light up with 1400 lumens.
Hard to miss.

I just found and bought this one ebay:

I will be modifying the housing somewhat and swapping over to a red lense.

They are real bright, even in daytime. Just fit a red lens directly over it, that way you won't need to mess around re-sealing everything

So for anyone that cares here..
Light came in, bright as all hell.
I ordered some ricer tail light vinyl in red and put two layers on and here she sits. Moto Funds have been tight lately so not a lot of progress but I did set the light in there so see and sure enough, I fuckin love it

whatif you paint the underside of the seat pan some sparkly bass bote red ?

Then I would have sparkles and red on a black and bronze motorbike ;D
Pass
Trust me, you'll see it.
Any of the drunks, i mean friends, attending motomondays last night can attest to its blinding power.
