im not sure what brands you have, but i use jaasco paint/varnish remover. The product will be in a can, and will be a jelly like substance.

i used this thing called circa 1830 or something, in a yellow can. brushed it on, wait a few seconds and bubbled up like that. the i just scraped it off.

I got it at home depot, don't know if you have them in canada???

stripped my tank in less then an hour. even the really tight spots, where gloves, and dont get it on anything.

I got most of it with the circa stuff but at a certain point it just stopped taking off any paint so I dug in with the sandpaper and steel wool. looks fantastic. I'll get some insurance on the bike and take it for some beauty shots tomorrow to show off

Get one of those paint stripping wheels you put in a drill. I stripped down a tank without using any paint stripper at all in about 20 minutes.
