Looks like a summer well spent. Like the pipes and the colour, just one question, what is the piece on the side cover? Almost looks like an air filter.

I did a few adjustments to the exhaust of my BMW caferacer aswell, but they are no where as radical as this one. Yet.

this is a pic of what it's like so far. The original Hbox is replaced by a piece of Y tubing. I modified the end zo I could fit the exhaust the way I did. Still plenty of work to do... I've got a spoked rearwheel now, looking for a front wheel. I've got a gearbox with a kickstarter comming in this week so I can get a smaller battery and remove the starter and the top of the engine, I'm going to make framebraces that will look a litle like the frames of older Ducati's and I'll probably do something radical with the exhaust after this winter. no final ideas about that one yet though. Maybe seatpipes, maybe just higher up. Maybe going over the cylinders instead of under. i just don't know yet.

summit racing has all manner of mandrel bends. Grab yourself a 3-4 1.5" J-pipes and get to welding!
