Idle circuit for carb?

I have been having trouble with my cb125 carb.

Tried cleaning my carb more and found this:

I was wondering where does the fuel draw from for the idle circuit? Should there be a hole in this seemingly plug?
I have been having problems with idle and when i turn the air mixture screw nothing happens.

Not sure on your bike, but if you look at the passages, that hole is just an access hole to drill the passage. I believe the idle circuit draws fuel from the jet up and to the right in the picture. That is common.

Much of the idle circuitry is on the body of the carb. On the bigger bikes, the slwo jet supplies the idle circuit as well as the low speed circuit.

You more likely have a vacuum leak or a plugged passage.

If you remove that plug, the carb won't work at all.

Before you do that. Let see if someone is familiar with that carb.

Don't make changes until we are sure they are needed.

I was going to temporarily plug it and see if it will run.

Im viewing this hole like its a crack in a drinking straw. But this hole is small enough it is still providing some gas.

Is it supposed to be there? A guess a temp plug might prove something...

Try a post n the Hondatwins.net too...maybe someone there is more familiar with your CB200

Thats good to know you identified the issue.....Can you get the old piece out?
