Ignition coils Question

ok so im converting my 1985 shadow vt500 into a bobber and i want to lose the bulky stock coils and go with a more modern compact set of coils. my manual says that the stock coils are 3ohm. im really interested in the dyna coils but im having a hard time finding dual fire witht the same resistance as stock. would going to a 5 ohm have negative results on the bike? my bike runs off from what i researched a "transistor switched ignition" idk what that means but i do have a cdi box on the bike. does this make a difference in what coils will fit? and if i upgrade the coils do i have to upgrade the pulse generator too? as you can see im lost can someone point me in the right direction?

Get a set of Dyna min coils in 3 ohm resistance. DC3-2

They are not tiny like a two stroke CDI coil but they are smaller than stock and a lot better.

Ok and with these coils do I have to upgrade the rest of the ignition or the cdi box?

Those should be a straight replacement for stock coils. Both are 3 ohms. They are much nicer looking that stock, but not a whole lot smaller. It's a lot of cash just for a pretty coil - unless the stock coils are dead.

the stock coils are way to large to move to another part of the bike for starters, and i also want to get better performance, and no issues when firing the bike up
