Ignition noise on LED lights,

Been Around the Block
I have a odd thing with my LED tail light and signals, while the bike is running, the lights brighten and dim according to engine RPM, when the rev's get higher it goes away, or possibly just cant be seen.

Im just wondering if anyone else has noticed this problem and identified what is going on? I suspect 1 of 2 things is going on:

-The pulsing load to the coils is making the voltage fluctuations that are causing the bright / dim strobeing

-There is some sort of backlash, or electrical noise coming off the coils causing the LED's to bright / dim strobeing

Possible solutions:

- Capacitor in line with the coils to smooth out the power delivery?

-Diode in line with the coils to suppress the backlash.

My electrical background is somewhat limited when it comes to stuff like this if anyone else has idea's or thoughts please comment or share, its not really a big problem im kinda curious whats going on?!?!?

Well LED's function as a Diode themselves hence Light Emitting Diode so i really can't see how putting another diode in line would help anything. I'd say its just fluctuations in your power output from your Stator. Is your battery completely full charged?

*Edit* I reread your post ignore what I said about the Diodes. but anyways try starting your bike with a battery charger hooked up to it and see if it still does it.

Hello friend you were able to solve out the problem? I am facing similar issue please tell the way to solve it..Waiting for reply thanks in advance:)

Wrap your harness in aluminum foil and and then connect the foil to the negative terminal of the battery.

This will shield the harness from any EMI.

if you have no battery its kinda impossible to get a good clean 12v thru the complete rpm range.
get some foil (big hassle) like sonreir said, get a battery (wich you dont want because you have switched to capacitor) or be happy with it.

You could also measure how much current is always on the system (like 11 volts or something) and shunt off everything above 11v going to the leds. That will keep the leds at a constant voltage.
