Got the top end on the engine.

Kind of an abstract polish on the daytona head.

Decided to go ahead and use the front fender, if nothing more than for a fork brace. radically trimmed, still working on final shape and blasting.

Big Dan was ready to pour some gas in it and fire it up, but we are not quite ready for that yet.......

Nice build. As to the front fender the black would look more "business like", but the blue would be a nice accent. Perhaps another way of putting it would be the black would accent the racer and the blue the Cafe? I believe you are looking for more of a racer?

How are you finding the location of the rearsets? Mine sit in virtually the same position and I'm short at 170cm. I'd like mine lower and further back.

Also, nice build, but short headlight ears would do wonders :)

Sorry for no updates for a while, had to put the RD away and attend to a small painting job.

Got her back in the water to work will resume on my rd.

Got the shop cleaned up, pulled out the RD and started hookin up the wiring.

Lets see if we can make this thing run.

I have wired lots of boats, this is the first Motorcycle for me.

A couple of questions for the crew:

What Spark Plugs?

I am running a power dynamo ingition with a capacitor in place of the battery. The wiring diagram is vague and in a foreign language, I think it calls for some sort of voltage regulator in the circuit. What do I need?

Also, the head light has three wires a white a blue and green. I am custom wiring the whole thing with a off, low and high switch, white ground? blue and green high and low?

Thanks.

Commin together.

Need to figure out some quick steering stops so the clip ons don't hit the tank.
