I'm new...

I suck at writing and dislike talking about myself so I'll make this quick. I recently acquired my first bike, a 72 CB350. My brother told me about DTT and I immediately started researching. I have a lot of work to do and even more learning. Below is a pic of my Honda family. The ruckus was purchased a few years back in efforts to save money on gas but quickly became a small money pit. Thats my live-in mechanic / roommate, he was trying to adjust my idle with a credit card. That's enough about me for now, I'm looking forward to being a part of the community.

Welcome to DTT man.

Your CB350 looks like its in great shape. Mine was the same color when I got it, but was REALLY rough. I love that green. Also, that Ruckus looks sweet, I love those little things. I am trying to talk my wife into letting me get one for her ("me") hahah.

Do be afraid to ask any questions, even if you think it is retarded. Also, there is an immense amount of solid information on this place. So do a lot so reading when you can, you will learn so much.

Good luck with your bike, and keep us updated on any progress.

Thanks for the friendly welcome, I'm looking to get my grease on, learn some things and hopefully contribute back to the community one day.

Hey Grahamworks, if the CB is sleeping, what are you riding? I do have a question for you or adriannarnold, its kind of what brought me to this site. I've done some searching but I cant find any solid info about the carb on my CB. If either of you have experience with this let me know and I'll fire off some details.

The bike is in pretty good shape as far as I'm concerned, adriannarnold. The green is very nice, and in great shape, dunno if I'll ever want to repaint it.

What's your question about your carbs? I actually took my stock carbs off as I had tears in both my diaphragms. But I will still do my best.

Before you start buying carb parts, what all do you really need? What is the issue that youre having?

Welcome to DTT by the way!

One of the carbs has a bad float, the other needs a gasket. Then I need to jet, it gives up around 3 grand. Hopefully this will fix my carb issues for now.

not to post on a 350,

check the diaphrams, on that thing, if they have holes in them, that might be were your 3k problem is

but the 360 i have liked to scew with me too, sometimes the carb problems were electrical issues.
