I can't tell from the pic what condition that bike is in, but I've owned several of the GS1000 bikes, they are excellent bikes. Lot's of H.P., comfortable, handle well and by most experts considered to be one of the first super bikes. I had several in my garage when a Japanese investor came to my home and paid handsome prices for them. The Wes Cooley specials can bring serious $. I was a very foolish man selling mine... It's your bike and your $, but that bike might be worth more restored. But one thing for sure, you're going to have a blast riding it, especially at the upper end of the tach it can be breath taking...

If that's a genuine S model it's worth more stock / restored than anything else. Don't cut it up.

The fairing is not original, so it may not be a genuine S model.

Join GS Resources and get some info on it before you do anything to it.
