Indicator Help

Hey Guys,

I'm building I've just switched my bike over to use LEDs with indicators and taillight.

All was working great until I started trying to trouble shoot an issue with the indicator light on the dash. As it was working on the left side but not when i clicked the right.

I opened up the plug that supplies the power to the dash and was using a electrics tester inside to test the source. While i was doing that I think I may have shorted something and now the indicators don't work.

Everything else is fine. Lights/tail/head dash lights. I don't think it's the flasher relay as I put the old one back in and nothing happened.

Any ideas am stumped?

thanks guys

What bike exactly?

Start testing everything individually. Instead of testing the entire system, pull the indicators off and make sure they work by themselves.

Hey Big Rich,

Thanks for your reply. Took your advice and started working backwards and ended up finding the problem. Looks like the owner had removed the indicator fuse and relocated it somewhere else. It was missing from the fuse box. And sure enough it was blown :-\

Amazing what a day away from staring at the problem can do.

cheers
