Indy MotoGP Weekend was too rad.

Coast to Coast
Race sucked but the weekend was unreal. Just got back to RI after the 1000 mile drive. A tiny smattering of pictures:

Unfortunately I think it's the last year for Indy. We'll have to haul our asses down to Texas from now on!
yea thats what i heard from some people, but then I've also heard they had a contract for ten years from others so idk. defiantly will suck if its true

This was my first time going to Moto GP as well which is sad considering I live about 20 minutes from the track. As far as coming back, I only know they signed the one year contract for this year.

Our seats were awesome. Penthouse level at Turn 1. We could see them coming down the straight, all the way through turn 4.

Motorcycles on Meridian was insane. So many bikes.

yea we cruised through for a lap of meridian, it was crazy

This was my first Moto GP as well. Wish the races came out different but it was an awesome event! Got super lucky and got paddock passes. It was amazing to see riders you see in magazines and on TV standing no more than 10 feet in front of you...Rossi almost ran me over with his moped LOL! Ran into Nicky by the Earl's Racing truck. Looked like he had a lot of his local crew there and was happy to pose for pics.

We were bummed to see Nicky have the issues in the race. He seemed to have the pace early on to get on the podium. Spies really did America proud though. Think if it wasn't for the incident at the start, he could have placed higher.

Couldn't go this year! Went last year with the wifey but the crowd's mood was subdued because of the death of the 13 yr. old rider. Plus, we didn't have good seating and I hated watching the race through chain link. Indy definitely needs better viewing areas. Loved the paddocks though and the closing down of the Circle at night.

I'd love to meet Hayden one day. I've been watching him race since he was a teen in AMA. He's from a town 45 min from where I live and neither he or his brothers get any press in the local papers.
