I mean c'mon Wal-Mart is open 24-7 why not Autozone? I get some of my best work done at 3a.m.

now that is somehting I CAN RELATE TO!!!! seafoam rocks! i have used it to work miricles!

Man it's rainin balls here and my tire still hasn't arrived yet. Damn the suspense is killing me. Got the seafoam though. And you better believe even if it's still raining i'm changing that tire.

Got the tire. Spent about 20 minutes out in the rain pulling the rear wheel off and brought it upstairs to the apartment. Took a couple of flat screwdrivers and ripped the old one off just like changing a bicycle tire. Got out the Brillo pads and shined up the wheel and hub quick and slapped it all back together with the new tire, tube and rim strap, now all I gotta do is take it to the shop tomorrow and air it up and slap it back on and we're ready for a test drive. I'm relieved that everything is working out with the bike finally. Still gotta figure out the lights. I wanna run some LEDs but with the 6V electrical system it's gonna end up being quite a chore, but when I'm finished with it I'll have one phat little 125.

hey dude,
I read back in the thread that you're from the butthole of the south... If I'm not directly in the butthole, then I've gotta be somewhere near the gooch. I'm in Gulf Shores, Al. Where are you from?

Sorry I haven't posted any pics lately, can't seem to locate the cables for my digital and my phone's been retarded and only saves the pics when it feels like it but I do have a few new ones that I'll get up this weekend. I get more parts today!!! And I'm gonna toss the rear wheel back on too.

So I went through my carb and replaced all the seals of which were only about 6 but after I got it all put back together, the float bowl is pissing gas. Makes no sense why that's where it's coming from. Only thing I can think of is I put the valve in upside down but still doesn't really explain why the float bowl is pissing fuel.

Well I am sure it is possible to put the valve in upside down. And if you replaced all the seals then there is only one cause I can come up with for your carbs pissing gas. Check the brass stem in the bowl. Some times they get a small crack and leak gas when ever your not on the throttle. If its crack ( and might not be able to see it) the only repair is to replace the bowl. Hope that helps, I am not sure what the carb you have exactly looks like but its still worth checking into. -MBS

It's the original Kehin carb. The fuel isn't coming from the tube, it's coming from the top of the bowl just like the new gasket isn't the right one. Maybe I'll put the old one back in and see if anything changes. It still bogs out when I hit the throttle hard too. Not sure what's causing that. I thoroughly cleaned all the jets and everything is properly adjusted. Next on the list is to change the points, condenser and coil. Much like Johnny Cash, I'm gonna do it one piece at a time.
